Maybank World Mastercard Golf Tournament 2026 concludes another successful event.
In business, some of the most valuable conversations do not happen in boardrooms, but on the fairways. The Maybank World Mastercard Golf Tournament has become a platform where relationships are built organically. Bringing together Maybank World Mastercard cardmembers, partners and leaders in a setting that balances competition with connection.
Held in May at the Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club, this year’s tournament once again underscored Maybank’s approach to client engagement. Beyond the game itself, the event was designed as a curated experience, served in a way that reflects how the bank connects with its customers not just as clients, but as individuals.

From the outset, participants were welcomed with thoughtful touches that set the tone for the day. Personalized elements, premium merchandise and a well-considered environment created a sense of occasion, reinforcing the attention to detail that defines the experience. Throughout the course, a carefully curated ecosystem of partners complemented the day, enhancing both performance and lifestyle aspects of the game. Participants received goodie bags that included an adidas polo shirt that could be customized on the spot, as well as high quality arm sleeves from SParm, as well as a chance to win a limited-edition Snoopy figurine.

Yet, it was the interactions on the course that stood out. As flights made their way through the Serapong’s storied layout, the tournament provided space for conversations to unfold and kindle new connections, naturally strengthening existing relationships and opening doors to new ones. In an increasingly digital and fast- paced environment, such moments of unstructured, face- to-face engagement are both rare and valuable.
The experience extended beyond play. Midway through the round, participants were treated to a thoughtfully curated selection of refreshments, offering a welcome pause from the Singapore heat. At the halfway house, 100 sponsored cups of Chagee were offered, together with coney dogs with rendang sauce, and Takoyaki balls.
These touchpoints, while simple, contribute to the overall design of the event. It created multiple opportunities for connection in an atmosphere that is both relaxed and engaging.

Hole-in-one sponsors at the event included W Atelier with $50,000 worth of designer furnishings on hole eight, MG with an IM5 Luxury at hole 14, and Audio House with a 90-inch Samsung Mini LED TV worth $14,999 at hole 17.
Joyre Group was present at the dinner, giving guests a well-deserved tui na massage experience throughout cocktails and dinner. Green Gorilla Fruits further presented premium fruits flown direct from Japan.

Competition remained an integral part of the day, with participants demonstrating both skill and sportsmanship. Robin Low emerged as champion in a closely contested field, reflecting the high calibre of players the tournament continues to attract. He received a two-day/one-night stay at The Laurus Hotel (Resorts World), along with two Universal Studios Singapore tickets – a total package worth $1,600 sponsored by Mastercard. Xavier Tay was first runner-up winning $800 Isetan vouchers, while Philip Tang Tung Kee ended the day second runner-up, winning $500 Isetan vouchers, both prizes sponsored by Maybank.

Novelty challenges and on-course highlights added an extra dimension to the game, ensuring that both seasoned golfers and social players found enjoyment throughout the round. Jianda Ng’s tee shot to 1.2m at hole two won him the Nearest to Pin novelty prize of a $200 Isetan voucher, sponsored by Maybank, and commuter pouch sponsored by adidas and Maybank. Chris Lim took the Nearest to Line at hole five, winning the same prizes from the same sponsors. The Longest Drive of 250m at hole 12 was won Foo Mao Jing who received a $200 Isetan voucher and adidas duffle bag also sponsored by Maybank and adidas.

As evening fell, the tournament transitioned into a more intimate setting. Guests gathered over dinner, where the focus shifted from play to celebration. A curated programme of dining, wellness and lifestyle experiences created a fitting close to the day, culminating in a series of well-received prize presentations and a lively lucky draw.

As is customary with the Maybank World Mastercard Golf Tournaments, the evening saved its best to the last with the lucky draw and its attractive prizes. Billy Phua Meng Soo took home the fifth prize of a Snoopy Table with adjustable height worth $1,099 sponsored by Office Planner. Melvin Kwek won a $1,670 EDOX watch sponsored by Crystal Time for fourth. The third prize of a $2,888 hair growth essential set sponsored by Hair+Lab went to Darren Tan Hock Lye, and the second prize of a three-day/two-night driving experienced sponsored by IM Motors went to Alan Ding.
