A new dual-layer insert is the highlight of the Odyssey Ai-DUAL putter line.

Feel is everything in putting. That’s why Odyssey focused on enhancing this all-important facet in their putters with the introduction of the Ai-DUAL range.

A dual layer urethane insert is the star of this show. Using artificial intelligence, over 15,000 trials were conducted before creating conditions that deliver high-quality forward spin while maintaining consistent ball speed.

The AI-derived dual layer consists of a soft surface outer section, and a firm layer behind it. An added component to the Ai-DUAL putters is the Forward Roll Design (FRD) grooves, which are engineered at a specific 19-degree angle to enhance forward roll. The new grooves interact better compared to previous designs, and improves performance on both centre and off-centre hits.

The Ai-DUAL putter face is found in most of the putters in the Odyssey range. New to the collection are the Ai-DUAL 1⁄2-Ball and 1⁄2-Ball Cruiser putters, which incorporate a new half-circle alignment aid at the top of the putter. This is available in the #7, DW, ailbird Mini DB, #7 DB, and Jailbird DB models.

Odyssey also rolls out two centre- shafted Ai-DUAL Square 2 Square – #7 and Jailbird – that delivers improved roll, consistent forward rotation, ball speed and a soft feel.

The new Square 2 Square Odyssey Ai-DUAL 1⁄2-Ball Max putter combines a zero-torque design with the half-ball alignment aid, and comes in three variations – 1⁄2-Ball Max, 1⁄2-Ball Cruiser Max, and 1⁄2-Ball Broomstick Max.
